Very easy to use and co-workers extremely impressed with the chocolates I brought into work. I regretted paying the money for this mold at the time, but after seeing how the candy turned out I decided it was one of the best buys I ever made. 19 of 21 people found the following review helpful: By I think this pan turns out beautiful bite-sized cakes, that would be lovely to take to a potluck, an at-home tea, or a bake sale, or for just an alternative to cookies at home. The pan makes 30 cakes in varying shapes (flowers, bundt, stars, hearts, etc) and I filled the pan nearly 3 times before using all the batter. I love the thick aluminum. It holds heat well and the light color seems to help prevent overbrowning. For my first batch, I used a rich yellow cake batter. I brushed the pan with a Crisco and filled each shell about 70%. The cakes came out nicely browned in about 13 minutes at 350, and released from the pan easily. |
