Out of the box there were aluminum flakes but I decided that maybe this was due to packaging so I washed the pan. Even after using a sponge and dish washing liquid, the aluminum flaked. If you were to rub your hand across the inside of the dry pan, you could see shiny sparkling pieces of aluminum on your hand. At this price, I bought several. And I'd had a difficult time finding this size pan anywhere. When I did finally find it (after already ordering it through Amazon), it was priced much higher. |
